Debate of Earthshattering Importance

The newest raging debate between me and my helpful (but wrong) husband:

Which hurts more when you step on it in the middle of the night, a Lego or a Hot Wheels?

Please let us know what you think.

A lego...hands down :)

I think a lego would be worse.

Hmmm... I'd say that a Hot Wheels has a greater potential for bodily harm in that it can whisk your feet out from under you, sending you crashing to the floor. BUT, if we're talking about the pure pain of stomping on something, the Lego with its sharp edges wins, hands down.

Would the two of you care to weigh in on The Chicken and The Egg?

LOL, Lisa, that's next:

Which hurts more when you step on it, a chicken or an egg?

Lego if you land on the sharp edges. But what kind of Hotwheel are we talking? Some of those darn buggers have spikes!

Because of personal experience, I feel strongly about this one. A lego is definitely more painful! ;o)

A Lego, no doubt.

Well, I have stepped on both in Mr. Dylan's room in the middle of the night, and the lego darned near caused me to scream (and wake up said sleeping child). The hot wheels is more of a nuisance object, similar to small plastic binoculars, bug catchers, and other objects that land on the floor near his bed. I guess we wouldn't have this debate if I took the time to clean his room before I went to sleep! ;o)

i would say a lego.

It depends on the sharp and pointiness of the car, but in most cases, a typical lego against a typical hotwheels, a lego would be more painful to step on, then a beyblade, then a hotwheel.

I vote Lego. I agree with the former poster, first lego, then beyblade, then hotwheels. But worse than all of those are tiny plastic hairclips. Flower shaped ones are absolute killers... owwwww...

A Lego. I know because I've stepped on one many a time....

Oh man, those Legos kill. The Hotwheel didn't hurt my foot as much as the Lego.

my helpful, but wrong dh, says hot wheels. I disagree. I think that on carpeting, a matchbox car matches the curve of your arch, whereas, a lovely lego facing bottom up has 4 very sharp, pointy corners PLUS the little hollow hole-thingies. Ouch.

That being said, I find plastic dinosaurs to be even worse, especially a stegasaurus or diplodicus or t-rex. The smaller the actual dino on hand, the worse off it is.

I second the motion that I should obviously clean up from time to time.

Mind you, I also spend most of my time in the middle of the night tripping over my dh clod-hopper shoes on my many trips to the potty. :)

I also say lego. Like everyone else said, those buggers are sharp & HURT! Especially on hardwood or tile floors.

Lego...but as we all know by now, I have no personal experience w/ hotwheels AT ALL. :)

I say Lego too. At least Hot Wheels have round wheels. They are both annoying at 2 am though!

I'd say Lego, and yes, I did step on both before.
