Nearly-Wordless Wednesday: Rice

There is rice on my plate.

I don't like rice.

And no one cares.

Instead of making me a sandwich, they are taking my picture.

Fine. I'll try some rice. And some peas. And a tiny bite of fish.

Postscript from Mom: He did not choke or fall out of his chair or die. As a matter of fact, he said, "Hey. I like peas." And he ate all of the rice.

Love it! We have a seven year old rice hater at our house.

I love the flashback pictures also. Wow, I remember them being that young. It seems like so long ago.

Your little man is so darling. Did he get a haircut last week? I don't think I could bare to cut those beautiful locks.

Both of my kids are big (and I mean big) eaters. I went to bed with the image of that little portion of rice in my head. They both eat spinach, kale, rice and just about anything I feed them. It is quite distressing as they are both above 50% on the BMI chart. There are days that I know they eat more than me.

Alas, no haircuts. Dinner was late, which meant no time for a quick trip after dinner. So, shaggy heads all around.

Your darlings will eat kale? Spinach? Wonderful! :-)

What a cute face he is making! Our's will eat rice all day, but put cauliflower in front of DD, and she does something very similar.
