Knock-Knock

Here's a parenting tip:

Never never tell your six-year-old that you think a joke is so funny you could listen to it all day.

I heard this on a t.v. show:

Knock-knock!

Who's there?

Interrupting pirate.

Inter--

Aaaarrgh! (in your best pirate voice and face)

It was funny for about the first twenty times.

My Dad told me this one, but as Interrupting Owl. I didn't get it at first, so when I said "Interrupt......" and he said "hoot hoot", I responded with HEY I wasn't done yet! LOL.

Okay, Cat, I told the joke to three different people and it wasn't funny. Nobody laughed. And that was after many margaritas. The night was all fun and games until the pirate joke. ARRRGGGHHHHHH

I thought it was really funny until I tried to tell it and as my friend Amy says...all of the joy was sucked out of our evening. Hmmm

LOL, Alice! I think you have to choose your audience...six-year-olds think everything is funny. ;-)

Arrggh! ;-)
